Proform Safety – Limited Lifetime Warranty

Proform Safety (“Proform Safety,” “we,” “our”) warrants that the Proform Safety Digital Hearing Protection Sign (the “Product”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use during the applicable warranty period described below (the “Warranty Period”).

This Limited Warranty applies only to the original end-user purchaser and is not transferable.

Warranty Period

  • Electronics: 2 years from the original date of purchase
  • Sign Housing / Printed Sign Face: Lifetime of product (against manufacturing defects, not cosmetic wear)

If a Product is replaced or repaired under warranty, the replacement/repair does not restart the warranty period; the original purchase date still applies.

What This Warranty Covers

During the Warranty Period, Proform Safety will, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the Product, or
  • Replace the Product (or a component), or
  • Provide an equivalent replacement product if the original model is unavailable

Coverage applies only to defects in materials or workmanship under normal intended use.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear / cosmetic issues
    General aging, fading, scuffs, scratches, or minor cosmetic blemishes that do not affect functionality
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or improper use, including but not limited to:
    Operating the Product outside its intended parameters; physical damage, impact, or crushing; improper mounting or installation; use with improper power supply, incorrect voltage, power surges, or electrical issues; exposure to water, chemicals, excessive dust, extreme heat/cold, or outdoor environments (unless explicitly rated for such use)
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
    Any alteration, tampering, disassembly, or repair performed by anyone other than Proform Safety or an authorized service provider
  • Calibration drift / field calibration
    Minor differences in readings due to environment, installation conditions, background noise, or normal sensor drift over time; on-site calibration labor, third-party calibration services, or routine recalibration
  • Consumable parts and accessories
    Batteries (if applicable), mounting hardware, or other items designed for replacement or maintenance
  • Shipping damage or handling damage after delivery
    Damage occurring during shipping must be reported promptly and may be handled as a shipping claim rather than warranty service
  • Lost or stolen products

How to Obtain Warranty Service

To request warranty service, contact us using the information below. We may ask for additional information to diagnose the issue.

Please include:

  • Your name and shipping address
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice)
  • Product serial number (if applicable)
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Photos and/or a short video (recommended for faster troubleshooting)

Return Process / Shipping Terms

If warranty service is approved, we will provide instructions for repair or replacement.

  • In many cases, we can resolve issues through troubleshooting and replacement of a component without requiring a full return.
  • If the Product must be returned, the customer may be responsible for shipping the Product to Proform Safety unless prohibited by law.
  • Proform Safety will cover return shipping for repaired/replacement Products sent back to the customer within the contiguous United States (unless otherwise agreed).

We recommend using a trackable shipping method and retaining packaging when possible.

Exclusive Remedy

Your sole and exclusive remedy under this Limited Warranty is repair or replacement, at Proform Safety’s sole discretion.

Disclaimer of Other Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PROFORM SAFETY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR LOSS OF DATA, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

Additional Legal Rights

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

Commercial / Industrial Use

This Product is intended for commercial and industrial environments. Warranty coverage assumes normal use consistent with the Product’s intended purpose and installation guidelines.
