Monitor and notify when hearing protection is required
Take the guesswork out of your hearing conservation program. The Proform Safety Digital Hearing Protection Warning Sign is an effective way to alert those nearby when hearing protection is required.
The built-in decibel meter measures and displays noise levels in real-time, and the 8" digital display is easy to read from afar. When levels surpass 85 dBA, the sign lights up bright blue with an audible alert to notify those nearby of the requirement to wear hearing protection. The alert signals for one minute to ensure the message is communicated to everyone in the vicinity.
Integrated neodymium magnets provide a quick and secure mounting method for steel columns in shops and warehouses. For mounting to walls or other nonferrous surfaces, countersunk steel strike plates are included for quick and easy magnetic mounting.
The sign is powered from a standard 5v USB power supply (included) with options for either a 3 foot or 15 foot long USB power cord - no need for expensive electrical installation work.
In open shop or warehouse environments, it is recommended to position noise level indicators every 75 feet for full coverage.
